Hi church family and anyone else reading. 🙂
I’ve been praying something very specific several times each week for a few months now. I’ve been asking God to give our church a new roof for the Family Center and make us debt free in one year.
It looks like the Lord is already answering my first request, by His grace. He has lowered and lowered the quotes we’ve received for the roof and a lot of money has been pledged ($65,000) to encourage the saints to match that gift. I’m excited and thankful to see how much we all give as the Lord lays it on our hearts.

The deacons and I have been talking, and we’re united in wanting to use any extra money to attack our debt and perhaps take care of another small repair that needs to happen.
Even if the Lord doesn’t answer my request, that’s okay. He knows what’s best. We can trust that however He answers our requests is something we would agree with if we knew all He knows. He cares for us more than anyone ever can or will.
