Over the past two Sundays God’s Word has instructed us about prayer. Colossians 4:2 says “continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it, with thanksgiving.” When I preached that verse, I challenged us to pray this:
“Lord, help me be aware of the spiritual realities around me.”
The challenge was to pray that every day for a week. Then last week I shared two additional prayers, but I’ll only mention one in this blog. It was
“Lord, open a door for me to tell someone about Jesus today.”
Did you take either of these challenges? I’ve written down the second one in my prayer journal and will begin praying that regularly. I’m excited to see what opportunities the Lord brings my way!
