King Jesus has brought some amazing people to be a part of our church. There are so many! It’s impossible for me to personally acknowledge everything everyone does. But that doesn’t mean we should resist honoring those we see doing good things for the Lord.
Today I want to honor and recognize two of our deacons, Rodger Kampenga and Tim James.
Rodger and Tim both have been willing servants at Lake Hills. Rodger went with me to visit a family and pray for the healing of someone they love. Tim serves every Wednesday night and otherwise as he oversees the security team. They’ve both done membership interviews and served on the sound board. Rodger keeps an eye on electrical needs and helps install and update things as he is able.
Both Rodger and Tim are married to wonderful women: Sue (Rodger) and Kathy (Tim), who I’m sure are their better halves.
(Side note: Rodger and Sue are rejoicing at the upcoming baptism of their son! Praise the Lord!)
Rodger and Tim, thank you. We are blessed to have you and your wives as part of Lake Hills. Our church and the kingdom are better because of how the Lord is using you both!
