I’ve decided to take a break from Saul for three weeks. He’s done enough boneheaded things to last us a while! 🙂
This Sunday, during Pack the House Sunday, I will be preaching a sermon simply titled “Sing.” I want to explore and show why God wants His people to sing to Him.
Then, next Sunday, on July 6, I have invited Jerry McCorkle to preach in my stead. I will be present that Sunday, but I’ll be leaving that afternoon to head to Twin Lakes Camp, where I’ll be preaching 8 times in four days. Jerry’s presence will help give me some more time to prepare for those messages.
On July 13, Pastor Chewy will be preaching. This is also giving me the opportunity to be fully present at camp with the children, students, counselors, and leaders.
My plan is to resume our “King Saul” series on July 20 and conclude it on July 27.
Thank you for being such good listeners of sermons. I look forward to what the Lord has for us over these next three weeks and through the end of the “King Saul” series.
