Today I want to simply show how clearly God’s Word talks about Jesus’ complete authority over demons.
Please take a moment and read these, especially if you have been experiencing any kind of demonic oppression lately. Truly, the key to deliverance from them is Jesus.
Romans 8:38-39 (ESV)
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Ephesians 1:20b-21 (ESV)
he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Colossians 1:16 (ESV)
16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
1 Peter 3:21b-22 (ESV)
Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

16 That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.

“And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.”
