Today I’m introducing all of you to my favorite listen on Spotify–The Corner Room (TCR). The Corner Room is beautiful, and I do mean beautiful, Scripture-quoting melodies. I’ve heard many songs of Scripture put to music. While all of them are helpful in their own way, there’s something about TCR’s songs that makes the songs feel like actual songs instead of just putting a melody to Scripture.
I’ve been listening to TCR for, I’m guessing, five years now, and it is part of my life. I listen to at least one song from TCR weekly, and often daily, and I cannot recommend his music enough.
It might not be your style of music, and that’s okay. I’m more of an acoustic guitar kind of guy, and that seems to be the artist’s main instrument. My resonance with that instrument probably latches my ear to his music more than someone who leans toward other genres.
Give it a listen. He’s written over 50 songs straight from Scripture, and he uses the ESV, which is also my favorite. It’s just amazing and I love it so much.
